Camp features

We only accept serious players with previous competitive soccer experience. Every year talented players attend our camps and challenge each other to the limit, growing in skill and experience.

We select the most talented campers for a 10 day tour to the Netherlands, to play against top-level Dutch youth teams and to experience our culture. Parents are welcome to join.  Check here for more info

We fly in our coaches directly from the Netherlands. They are not merely coaches: they are also teachers. Many of our coaches have a Bachelor of Arts degree in physical education. At the ALO (Academy for physical education), coaches not only received their coaching licenses from the global leader in soccer development: KNVB (Royal Dutch Soccer Federation) they also learn how to work with, encourage and incentivize young athletes.

Every camp group will have the same Dutch coach for the entire week. Our coaches will get to know each of the players in their group and will coach them individually, assessing their needs and improving the specific areas best for them.   Check out our  coaching staff here

Each morning session includes Fast Footwork.  Each day we train a different situation, including an opponent coming from the side, back and front. After learning different moves, campers learn to utilize the moves in 1v1 and 2v2 games. Fast footwork sessions include passing and receiving at a fast pace.

Each afternoon includes Power Shooting training, improving the technique combined with moves and first touch training.

We will have a Dutch licensed goalkeeper coach available, his/her highest priority is to improve each goalie’s technique.   In addition we focus on tactics, positioning, concentration and discipline.

In the Dutch soccer vision, the 4 vs. 4 game is the cornerstone. These games provide the foundation for playing attractive soccer. Each player has many touches on the ball, while learning to solve a variety of soccer problems. The 4 vs.4 provides many goals and excitement. Each afternoon we organize different 4 vs. 4 formats. Players will play short games, with and against different players each time.

At the Dutch Soccer School our players don’t just train. We also create games out of almost every exercise. Campers can win exciting prices! Beside the Dutch 4 vs. 4 competition with individual winners, we challenge our campers with camp finals in 1 vs. 1, dribbling course, penalties, and shooting.

Every camper will receive a Dutch Soccer School Nike Uniform (Jersey, Shorts and socks), which is included in the price.  We expect each camper to wear the uniform each day of camp.  Extra Uniforms are available to purchase at online registration.

Dutch Soccer School strives to keep a low player to coach ratio, ensuring that maximum attention is given to each camper.

All campers are supervised 24 hours a day by our camp counselors, who stay on site with the players to ensure proper conduct and safety.

Our trainer(s) will be available during all camp sessions in case a camper needs physicial treatment for any injury or illness. He/she will have a station at check in to go over each camper’s medical information/records.

Campers may bring spending money for cold drinks, snacks, etc. A camp bank is provided where parents and campers can deposit funds in the bank at registration and withdraw money as needed. All unused funds are returned in full at the end of camp.

The beautiful campus is located in Papillion near Omaha.

We permit all overnight campers to choose their roommate or we will assign a roommate for them. Two to three campers will be assigned to each room. Each camper will be provided with three nutritional meals each day. Commuter campers will receive lunch and dinner.
